LCSAR Mailing lists


LCSAR.ORG operates email distribution lists for the convenience of its members. These lists are open for any member, associate or reserve member to join.

Joining a list
To join a list:

  1. Go to the webpage associated with that list (see below). You will be asked to provide a valid email address and a password to be used -- by you -- to modify your list subscription settings in the future. It is your responsibility to modify your account settings to suit your particular needs. Make a note of your account password somewhere where you can find it.
  2. Once you have applied for list membership, an email will be sent to your email account, asking you to verify your request.
  3. When you respond to that request, an email will be sent to the list administrator(s) who will then confirm your membership. You will receive and welcome email at that point.

If you do not receive your verification email, make sure you check your spam folder/filters to make sure it didn't accidentally get routed there.

Keep in mind that what you say on these email lists is archived, and may be used as a public record. Please refrain from unprofessional conduct or discussions relating to personnel matters (as these may be subject to privacy laws).
